Your skin.
Your brows.
Your soul.

When I was first considering what to name my business, I started by writing down everything I wanted you to feel or experience during your appointment. Written there were the words CARED FOR and it seemed to perfectly sum it up. My goal at the end of every service has always been for you to not only like how you look, but how you feel as well. I believe in highlighting the best in people and enhancing the beauty we already have.

Along with the care I provide during a service, you’re also caring for yourself by setting aside the time and just being there. So whether we’re together for a few minutes or a few hours, thanks for showing up for your own wellbeing and spending your time with me.

Hi, I’m Ren.

I’ve always been creative and have loved the power of physical touch, so becoming an esthetician has been the perfect way to finally blend those two gifts I’ve spent many years cultivating. It’s amazing to look back at how a life of seemingly disconnected experiences can accumulate and grow into something so perfectly fitting.

At 19, I became a beauty school dropout due to worsening symptoms with my autoimmune disease and other chronic pain issues. That experience planted the seed of my love for working one-on-one with clients and the reward of being able to make someone feel good. Through my early to mid 20s I was a freelance artist specializing in illustration and typography which has given me years of practice with color theory, proportion, and attention to detail.

In my late 20s, I decided it was time to make a change so after sitting down and making a list of options, I landed on esthetics. Shortly after, I started at the Aveda Arts and Sciences Institute and graduated in March 2020 - the day Nashville went into lockdown. After a few months of panicking that I now had a career in touching faces in a mask-wearing world, I got my first job in the industry and it skyrocketed from there. I quickly found out that in order for me to do this job well, I needed to learn to better protect my energy and take care of myself before trying to take care of others. Because as Mother Ru always says - “If you can’t love yourself, how in the hell you gonna love somebody else. Can I get an amen?” By incorporating Reiki and other forms of energy work into my life and work, it has helped me to better connect with my body and further my healing both physically and mentally. I enjoy continually learning and trying to find new ways to grow my craft so CARED FOR will inevitably continue to grow and evolve as I do.

I’m originally from the Central Coast of California but in 2012, I fell in love with Nashville while visiting friends and have called it home since 2016. When I’m not working I love to spend time with my cats, partner, and some good food.
